Happy 2nd Anniversary!!!!!!!!

Happy 2nd Married Anniversary you guys! This is my brother Matt. If you have never met him he is a trip. He can make you laugh at a drop of a hat and keep you laughing all day. He is very talented and super creative. He owns his own multi media company and it just keeps growing. Jamie is also a very awesome person. She is very very smart. She graduated last year from Pharmacy School and just finished up a year of internship. She just got her first full time job starting in July! Matt always says - Show me the money baby!!!!!!!!!!!

I love you both and I'm so happy you found each other!

One Long Week

WOW! This has been one long week. I feel like today should be Friday. We have had something every night this week and going to bed really late. Not fun! Monday night we took out our good friend Jeremy as a thank you for helping us out with our front yard. Him and Josh put in a lot of hours digging and working hard and it turned out great! So, we went out to dinner to say thanks for that. Then Tuesday night we had a reunion dinner for everyone that went on our Alabama trip. So much fun. We had a bunch of southern food that everyone brought over and then we looked at every one's pictures! So much fun and it was such a great group that went! We had a blast. But we didn't get home from that until about 11pm. Then last night was working on the new project on the patio. Josh had a couple friends over to help him hang sheet rock and put in lights and all that stuff. What a job. So, needless to say I am tired and ready for a relaxing weekend! Our weeks our busy but this has been extremely busy. I love to have a few days to just relax and be at home! Next week should be better!

At Shawn's Wedding

5 years earlier.

I have been thinking alot lately about how in love I am with Josh. I remember someone telling me once that you just keep falling deeper and deeper in love and that you also learn something new everyday about the one you love! I feel that way very much. We have been married for 5 years and they have been amazing! We have been together for 8 and I keep learning so much more! I love you baby!

New Rig

Out with the old and in with the new! We just sold my Element and bought a Nissan Murano. I love it. This is my mommy car. So, we are preparing even now!

The Many Faces of Mr. Austin

As I was looking over my blog today I noticed one thing. We haven't do justice to our Mr. Austin. He is a very important part of our family and my little boy. He is a 4 year old beagle basset. When we bought him 4 years ago they told us he was full beagle and we have paperwork to prove it but as you can clearly see by these pictures he is not a pure beagle. But we love him! So, on your hump day I hope these pictures make you laugh just a little! He makes me laugh everyday by something he does. Yesterday I was going to the bathroom after not being home all day and he was outside and all I could see underneath the door was his little paw coming in and out. He wanted in so bad! Enjoy!

Day in the life of Kim

Remember how I told you pre post that my husband loves to do projects around the house and they go from one project to the next and ladies, these are not small projects! Well, this weekend he began another one. (Believe me, there were a couple heated discussions about this one.) As I have written before, I had asked for a break after our front yard was done and that we would discuss starting something else after our vacation. Well, we agreed to disagree but the project has begun. He is redoing out patio out back along with our friend Brian. I'm sure once it's finished it will be amazing, and just like anything, I'll be putting up before and afters for all of you to see. Work began on Friday afternoon. If you trying to get the time line right, yes we did just return from our vacation on Tuesday. So, I guess 2 full days is a break to some! Just kidding! Josh agreed that the timing was really bad but Brian doesn't have other jobs going right now so now is the best time to get the most work from him so it was started. We are making out patio into a indoor/outdoor room. It is all enclosed with windows and french doors that lead out to the yard, so we can open up everything and get a great breeze coming through or we can keep it closed and just have a nice sun room! So, in the end it will be amazing but for now it's a pain!

So, as you can see I titled this the day in the life of Kim since this is what I go through very often! I told Josh to pray to God that he found someone that will deal with this. I am just hoping that once a baby comes along he'll slow down at least in the home demo section of our lives. Pictures are to come!
